Puffin Watching
There are roughly 30,000 puffins that nest every summer on islands just off the coast of Reykjavik. This fun and easy 1-hour tour takes you to the islands to get a close look at the puffins and other seabirds that are on these islands.
The islands Lundey and Akurey are just a 15 minute sail from the Old Harbour in downtown Reykjavik. Our boats can get you extra close to the birdlife and your guide will tell you all about the different species you encounter, highlighting the famous Atlantic Puffin. Other birds you may spot on your tour include Northern Fulmars, a variety of gulls, Arctic Terns, and Black Guillemots.

What do I need to bring
It is always a good idea to bring sunscreen and wear sensible shoes. Long-lens cameras are recommended for photographing the puffins, as they are small and fast birds.
